Afternoon All,

Please see the below information from the ELOR Team in relation to roadworks, diversions and footpath closures.

Dear Resident

We are currently undertaking works in your area to construct the new East Leeds Orbital Route ELOR. The scheme which extends from Red Hall Lane to Thorpe Park Retail Park is to construct a new seven-kilometre dual carriageway with pedestrian, equestrian and cycling access, associated landscaping, as well as the delivery of five new bridges which will link the existing Orbital Ring Road to Junction 46 of the M1.

As part of our works we are temporarily closing several public rights of way footpaths between Swarcliffe and Scholes. This will be for the duration of the scheme. Footpath diversion routes are now in place, please see attached drawing for diversion routes.

To maintain the safety of both members of the public and our workforce, fencing has been erected along the perimeters of the scheme. This is to ensure work can be carried in the safest manner possible.
We ask that members of the public adhere to the footpath diversions at all times.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these works may cause and appreciate your continued patience. If you require any further details, please contact us via elor@leeds.uk
If you would like to be kept informed of up to date information regarding the project, please visit our website at www.elor.uk and sign up for email updates and monthly newsletter.

Yours faithfully

The ELOR Project Team
