ELOR/Northern Powergrid diversion works

A64 & Leeds Road, Scholes

Northern Powergrid, is about to start the electricity cable diversion works required for the construction of the East Leeds Orbital Route (ELOR).

Works on the A64 will take place from 4th January to 24th February, from the Junction of Woodlands Way to the East Leeds Orbital Route construction site. Two way traffic flow on this section of the A64 will be maintained throughout these works.

Night works

Works on Leeds Road, Scholes will take place from 11th January to 25th January, just north of the junction with Smeaton Approach to the East Leeds Orbital Route construction site. These works will be completed during the night.

To accommodate these works, Leeds Road, Scholes will be closed from 8pm to 6am each evening from Monday 11th January to Monday 25th January. A diversion will be in place through Scholes, the A64 and the A64 Ring Road.
